Among the highlights of Fiscal Year 2019:
In partnership with Employee Services, our Payroll/Benefit Accounting team launched an initiative to manage work-study stale-dated checks – helping the campuses comply with federal work-study regulations.
PBA and ES streamlined the reissue of payroll checks/direct deposit payments that are rejected due to incorrect account information — now only reissuing net pay rather than adjusting the actual payroll/wage: this delivers better service to employees while creating efficiencies with payroll reporting.
Our staff members were invited to serve on committees for NACUBO, HEUG, HDI, and COLTT.
Across the OUC, team members shared CU stories with national and international audiences through peer-reviewed conference presentations.
